The meetings will be held in the Media Conference room and will include light refreshments. Women, students, and seniors are encouraged to apply. Volunteer applications can be submitted online by logging on www.paff.org for more information, please call 310-337-4737 or e-mail volunteer@paff.org. "Volunteering with PAFF is a great way to network entertainment industry professionals and support your community," explains the PAFF founder Ayuko Babu. The PAFF is America's largest and most prestigious Black film and arts festival taking place February 10-15, 2010 in Los Angeles presenting and showcasing a broad spectrum of Black creative works, particularly those that reinforce positive images and help to destroy negative stereotypes of Africans and African-American. The PAFF believes film and art can lead to better understanding and foster communication between peoples of diverse cultures, races, and lifestyles, while at the same time, serve as a vehicle to initiate dialogue on the important issues of our times. |
