BURBANK — The Grammy-winning rapper Lil' Kim, Professional Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor, actress Denise Richards, and Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak were among the 13 contestants named Sunday for the spring season of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars.''

The field also includes the first husband-and-wife contestants — rodeo champion Ty Murray and the singer Jewel — and the series' youngest contestant, 17-year-old Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Shawn Johnson.

The remaining contestants are actor/comedian David Alan Grier; daredevil and television personality Steve-O; Belinda Carlisle, the lead singer for the 1980s group the Go-Go's; country singer-songwriter Chuck Wicks; "Access Hollywood'' co-host Nancy O'Dell; and actor Gilles Marini, best known for his role in the "Sex and the City'' movie.

Wicks' partner will be his girlfriend, Julianne Hough, a two-time "Dancing'' champion.

The spring "Dancing with the Stars'' season premiere is set for March 9.

"Dancing with the Stars'' is television's second most-watched series, behind Fox Broadcasting's "American Idol.''

Please don't keep contestants that are never going to win & send home dancers that actually have potential. After last year (2008) I was almost ready to never watch the show again. But I love dance. Keeping that elderly lady on was just ridiculous.
