First-time commencement exercise

Marco Firebaugh High School held the first graduation ceremony in the school’s history last Friday on campus. Students celebrated the end of their high school careers by tossing their caps into the air as ceremonies came to a conclusion. Among the special guests during at the ceremonies were former state Sen. Richard Polanco, who was a mentor to the late Assemblyman Marco Firebaugh, who the school is named after; and Firebaugh’s mother, Carmen Garcia. (Photo by Gary McCarthy)

WHY DONT YOU MAKE A BIG STORY OF THIS RATHER THAN FOCUSING ON THE NEGATIVE THINGS THAT GO ON AT LYNWOOD.
