Yes! Remove Barbara Johnson! What does she really know about curriculum? Under her "leadership" we are still in PI, what a joke! Or is she in her position because she is black? Her incompetence and lack of experience as a school administrator just doesn't seem to matter does it? This is a prime example of how LUSD keeps people in their positions because of their race not because of their ability to do their job. Shame on the Board Members that haven't taken action on this one!

macias was only a assistant principal for 1 1/2 years at LMS. What did he do there. Is he highly qualified to be a principal? What about KEA money? Will Lynwood Middle lose this money by not having a qualified principal? Has anyone asked this question? Lynwood Middle cannot afford to lose any funding.

If you are qualified AND the best person for the job...so be it. But filling a quota of black people which is what is being suggested, is ridiculous...and Kudos to the administrators you are naming. Are you off your rocker? I'm not into racial politics at all, but to say schools in Lynwood haven't done much better is insane. #1 Bernice Jacobs, the only Distinguished School has ever had. Top test scores in the district for 7 straight years. Dr. Harps, the only principal in our district to breach the 800 mark. Simi Coffey, Rosa Parks posted a 100 point gain, and now has the sedcond hightesscores in the district. Dixie Scott, another 100 point gainer in one year.
