LYNWOOD — St. Francis Medical Center, 3630 E. Imperial Highway, will hold a special Mass and a candlelight procession in honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe at 6 p.m. Saturday in the hospital auditorium.

The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe commemorates the appearance of the Virgin Mary to a Mexican farm laborer Juan Diego nearly 500 years ago.

Bishop Alexander Salazar, auxiliary bishop of Los Angeles, San Pedro region, will celebrate the Mass.

The evening also will feature live entertainment and hot chocolate and sweet bread will be served.
