COMMERCE — Costco, the nation’s leading warehouse club operator, is opening its new Costco Business Center Thursday morning at 6333 Telegraph Road.

The business center will stock more business-oriented products than standard Costco warehouses.

“Our business centers cater to businesses by offering products for their specific needs,” said Phil Lind, vice president of business centers for Costco Wholesale. “We carry more than 4,000 diverse items including vending products, convenience store items, restaurant/institutional foods, hospitality products and office necessities such as office supplies, office furniture, janitorial and break room supplies. Over 70 percent of our items are not carried at Costco Wholesale or other warehouse clubs.”

Lind said the business center warehouse looks similar to standard Costco Wholesale warehouses, but a few differences exist. Earlier shopping hours enable businesses to shop during regular business hours. The location will be open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Sunday.

Business centers also house a Costco Print & Copy Center to provide copying, binding and printing solutions, along with imprinted promotional items. A Costco membership is required at the warehouse and all Costco members are welcome.

“I’d like to invite everyone to visit our new Costco, by coming to our opening event,” said Michael Donner, Commerce Costco Business Center warehouse manager. “Along with our Hawthorne location, we look forward to providing all Los Angeles area Costco business members a one-stop-shopping experience at our Costco Business Centers.”
