Savion Udeh scored 28 points to lead Fremont High School to a 67-35 rout of Manual Arts Friday in a Coliseum League boys basketball game.
The Pathfinders improved to 15-5 overall and 6-1 in league. Crenshaw (13-3, 6-0) is atop the standings.
Michael Sullivan had nine points and nine rebounds and Tim Johnson had nine points and seven assists for Fremont. Kaylen Ayers had 15 rebounds.
In other Coliseum League action Friday, Dorsey (9-10, 4-2) raced past View Park Prep, 94-70 and Locke (9-15, 4-3) toppled Jefferson, 79-48.
Eastern League
Jordan 77, South East 70
Christopher Ashanti had 26 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and three steals to lead Jordan (13-9, 7-0) to a victory over South East in the Eastern League Friday.
Point guard Davian Wilson added 18 points and 10 assists for the Bulldogs, who are in search of their seventh consecutive league title. Rudolph Drayton had eight points and seven rebounds.
Bay League
Leuzinger 83, Mira Costa 69
Amir Garrett scored 22 points and Delon Wright and Colroy Gordon each had 20 to lead Leuzinger (15-6, 6-0) past Mira Costa in the Bay League game.
Lawndale 65, Torrance 60
Randy Beatty had 24 points as Lawndale (11-11, 3-3) defeated Torrance.
Raby Hardaway added 19 points, 16 of which came in the second half.
Marine League
San Pedro 63, Washington Prep 59
Washington Prep (13-7, 6-1) suffered its first Marine League loss.
The Generals are now tied for first place with Narbonne (16-7, 6-1). San Pedro is 14-7, 3-4.
Narbonne 54, Banning 36
Kumase De Mesma had 23 points to lead Narbonne in Marine League play.
Ocean League
Inglewood 60, Beverly Hills 49
Julius Bilbrew had 23 points, seven rebounds and five steals to lead Inglewood (14-7, 5-1) to victory in the Ocean League.
Rhon Mitchell had 15 points and Gerald Evans added 10 points for the Sentinels.
Culver City 62, Hawthorne 59
Culver City (9-13, 2-4) withstood a 32-point performance by Hawthorne’s A.J. Brevard to record a three-point Ocean League victory Friday.
Josh McGhee led the Centaurs with 17 points. Aamahad Walker had 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Brandon Hood had 12 points and Miles Green added 11 assists and 13 rebounds for the Cougars (9-14, 2-4).
Santa Monica 47, Morningside 40
Santa Monica (16-6, 6-0) defeated Morningside in the other Ocean League game. Morningside is 12-11, 1-5.
Del Rey League
Serra 73, Bishop Amat 58
Keith Shamburger had 23 points, including five 3-pointers, and six assists to lead Serra in the Del Rey League. Craig Carter added 15 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Behind 23 points from point guard Hazel Ramirez, the Inglewood girls basketball team defeated Windward, 60-45 Saturday in the Santa Monica Extravaganza.
The Sentinels (19-4, 5-1), who host Ocean League-leading Santa Monica (16-6, 6-0) Wednesday in a pivotal league game, also received contributions from Noelini Tuiasoa and Deajanae Scurry, who had 10 points each.
Ramirez, the Wave Newspapers player of the year as a junior, hit four 3-pointers in Saturday’s victory.
In Friday’s 61-45 Ocean League win over Beverly Hills (14-10, 3-3), Ramirez had 18 points and five assists and Tuiasoa had 14 points.
Santa Monica defeated Morningside, 51-30 and Culver City topped Hawthorne, 56-40 in other league games Friday. Alexandria Lewis scored 20 points as Culver City (15-9, 3-3) won its game.
Inglewood will be trying to avenge a Jan. 15 loss to Santa Monica when it faces the Vikings in the rematch.
Coliseum League
View Park Prep 72, Dorsey 38
Danielle Pruitt scored 27 points to lead View Park Prep (19-5, 7-0) past Dorsey (14-10, 4-3) in the Coliseum League Friday.
Kristine Dunigan added 13 points and Sydney Labot 11 for View Park.
Manual Arts 47, Fremont 18
Ashley Joseph scored 15 points and Jessica Thornton added 12 as Manual Arts (9-8, 5-2) routed Fremont, 47-18. Evondra Davis added 10 for the Toilers.
Locke 65, Jefferson 63
Locke (6-9, 2-5) withstood a furious fourth-quarter rally by Jefferson (3-10, 1-6) to record a 65-63 victory. The Saints took a 10-point lead into the final period, then hung on for their second Coliseum victory.
Destinee Thomas had 17 points and Lucy Portillo added 16 for Locke. Kerriaun Zanders added 10.
Marine League
Washington 43, San Pedro 24
Kiana Furlow scored 17 points and Reshanda Gray had 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots as Marine League-leading Washington Prep (16-9, 7-0) coasted to a 19-point victory over San Pedro.
The Generals, who also received 15 rebounds from Danielle Brown, jumped out to a 14-2 lead after one quarter and were up, 25-7 at halftime.
Carson 63, King-Drew 31
Janitha Iamaleava had 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead Carson (14-7, 6-1) past King-Drew. Annie Currie added 11 points and eight rebounds.
Narbonne 48, Banning 46
Tailer Butler had 21 points as host Narbonne (15-8, 5-2) edged Banning (3-9, 2-5).
