Gang graffiti is an issue because it promotes crime, fear, oppression and an unsafe environment for citizens. It has little to do with paint. To dismiss it because it is in a poorer area is arrogant and materialistic

It doesn't matter how nice the neighborhood is. Gang tagging is a serious issue. Its not just about appearances its about promoting crime, oppression, fear and creating an unsafe evironment for citizens.
